Later that Saturday night…
I’m sitting out here by the pool again, playing around with my little scroll. What is it, I wonder? What is it, indeed…
I have re-read it again and I believe it is new energy. It does not seem like Andrew at all. It’s very new, very fresh. I’m not sure where it’s coming from, but I’ve decided to welcome it in. It seems like it has the potential to be a good investment, so I’ll allow it in the name of potential income.
For now.
I’m not sure where to go with it. It feels like it could easily fit within the bounds of a conventional romance novel structure. I think the very nature of Dubai itself makes it easy to fully indulge in the flight of fantasy. Could be a whole series! I’d read that. Actually, I would read and watch that…
Okay, maybe now we’ll finally start getting somewhere with this whole writing thing.
Alright, see? My writing career is far from dead! I just needed fresh inspiration from the other side of the world. A new perspective on life. Something to really get those engines fired up and going again, if you know what I’m saying.
I think what I like most about this character is that he’s a complete stranger. There’s no way I’m ever going to see this man again. I can just make some shit up and go crazy with the flight of fantasy and it will all be fictional. No one can complain to me about being misrepresented. This person straight-up does not exist in real life. Amazing!
Watch, he’s gonna pop up someday out of nowhere, just totally outraged like, “This book totally misrepresents me. I never said I owned a private jet. Just because I’m Emirati doesn’t mean my family automatically owns a private jet. We don’t all fly around the world in private jets all the time, Betsey. That’s an untrue stereotype and I will not stand for it.”
😅😂🤣😜🤪
Whatever, bro. Who cares? Chill out. It’s just for the story.
Too funny, lol.
So many things to write, so little time. Let’s see what we come up with next.
